Our Services

Pre Employment Services

  • Developing skills for seeking employment serves as an excellent starting point for any employment initiative. Throughout this training, participants will gain fundamental knowledge about job hunting, covering aspects such as crafting sample applications/resumes, effective methods for job searching, networking strategies, navigating online job applications, and preparing cover letters and resumes. Moreover, attendees will receive guidance on interview techniques and post-interview follow-up etiquette.

  • Before embarking on a job search journey, it's often beneficial to delve deeper into a chosen industry. Informational interviews serve as a valuable tool to gather essential insights that can guide you in defining your employment objectives.

A Consultant will support you in compiling a roster of potential employers, initiating and arranging informational interviews, and preparing a set of questions for your discussions with industry professionals.

  • Jobs Shadowing is an extremely helpful way to learn about various jobs with an employer. Like Informational Interviewing, a Consultant will assist in determining industries to shadow, reaching out and creating questions to ask during a job shadow.

Employment Navigation

  • While in this program, your Consultant will collaborate with you to do what it takes to secure employment. From creating a resume and cover letter, applying for jobs and practicing for interviews to assisting in follow up after a job offer. Using person centered planning, assists in meeting you, where you are at today.

  • Often, individuals report the most stress on the job in their first 90 days. During this time of learning a new role you may realize a need for additional “coaching” to learn the job. A Consultant can walk you through the onboarding process and provide support during the beginning of your job. Consultants are available to coach on or off the job and to connect with your employer in person, via phone or email to see how work is going and if there are areas for improvement.

  • The idea of starting post-secondary education is often very overwhelming. Through Education Navigation, a Consultant can help you through each step of the process from choosing a school and program to registering to organizing your work load.
